Southern Vietnam Travel 5Days

Transfer to Cuchi, passing paddy fields. Never discovered by America forces, these tunnels were an important Vietcong base during America War. Stretching over 200km, this incredible underground network, dug by hand out of hard lacerate, connected commands posts, hospitals, shelter and weapon factories. Today, you can walk through the area and learn about the day – to day like of the VC, see the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate booby- traps, and even  venture inside the tunnels, some of which have been modified to accommodate tourists. Proceed to Vung Tau, a well known coastal resort 125km southeast of Saigon. In the evening, enjoy the fresh seafood in a Vietnamese restaurant and a round cape drive along the seaside with sightseeing by dawn.

After breakfast, visit to the Summer Palace of the Emperor Bao Dai, the Jesus Monument, which overlooks the peninsula and the Pacific Ocean, Whale temple. Transfer back to Saigon after lunch.

Pass by and stop taking photos at the Post office, the Cathedral of Notre Dame as well as the Centre Post Office and pass by the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville) and old Opera House. Free shopping at some commercial centers in Saigon such as: Vincom Centre A-B, Saigon Square, Hard Rock Café and Ben Thanh Market. Dinner at local restaurant

Transfer to outskirt of Saigon and begins the tour on the beautiful countryside road.

Start at Tourist Boat Station (My Tho), cruising on Tien (Mekong) river and seeing four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix. Enjoy fresh coconut juice. Visit fish floating market and Fish-craft village along Tien River. Stop at Thoi Son Island, go walking around countryside road, seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits and listen to traditional music. Take a rowing boat on small canal with beautiful scenery of country side, to visit honey-bee farm and enjoy honey-tea. Stop at Phoenix Island to visit Coconut Monk Temple and Crocodile-pond. Lunch at a local restaurant. Keep going to Vinh Trang pagoda. Driver back to Saigon for dinner at local restaurant.
